The ESC Series compact, soundproof granulators are designed with a fully-enclosed soundproof box enclosure resulting in extremely quiet operation. The soundproof enclosure ensures easy and quick access to the cutting chamber during knife servicing and screen removal. The soundproof material used is based on the latest technological research.
The completely welded cutting chamber, in conjunction with the V-cut rotor design, ensures dependability in operation and universal application use. The cutting geometry of the ESC Series allows material feed injection even with voluminous types of material.
The complete ESC Series achieves a high-quality granulate, independent of the material type, such as injection molded parts, blow-molded parts, profiles, sheet, film, etc.
The ESC Series is economicaly priced, reliable, and easy to clean. EconoGrind offers a wide range of accessories to enhance the ESC Series, such as material transport systems, conveyor belts, metal separators, and fine separators.
Features
Unique cutting Geometry. The rotor knives have been designed with the latest V-cut engineering technology. Unlike the older cross-cut action for rotor knives, the V-cut configuration conveys the material toward the center of the rotor, reducing or eliminating material build-up at the side walls and unnecessary wear.
Simple Knife Setting. Both rotor and bed knives are pre-set outside the granulator cutting chamber in a supplied bench-top fixture. Awkward adjustments inside the machine are no longer necessary. All the knives are manufactured from heavy-duty D2 tool steel and can be re-sharpened numerous times.
Ultimate Material Infeed. Consistent material pull-in through the unique rotor design eliminates material rotor bridging of voluminous or bulk parts.
Integrated Soundproofing. Integrated soundproofing ensures a reduced sound level in operation. The unique design allows easy access during servicing.
Mobile Compact Design. The integrated soundproof design creates a compact and mobile unit. The granulator can be moved or transported with a fork lift or standard lifting device.
